Calling all the young detectives out there for a hunt for fabulous fungi this half-term at The Lodge with our knowledgeable volunteers.
With over 700 species of fungi recorded at The Lodge, you are bound to find the deadly, the slimy and the downright weird on your visit! Fungi come in all shapes and sizes, so our well-informed volunteers will be on hand to point out some of the more elusive species.
Past highlights have been the distinctive red and white Fly Agaric, the club-shaped and dark Earth Tongue and many more.
